Antique Large Porcelain Figurine of the
Happiness God Fukurokuju with other gods or
    attendants
In a somewhat joyful display possibly from
    a religious
alter or was part of a Japanese Tokonoma.
    Fukurokuju
, also known as Fukurokujin, from Japanese fuku, “happiness”; roku, “wealth”; and ju, “longevity”,
in Japanese mythology, one of the Shichi-fuku-jin Seven Gods of Luck or one of Seven Lucky Deities.
Fukurokuju represents longevity and wisdom.  3 of the other figures appear to be Daikoku, Benten and Ebisu.
    This large piece stands 12-1/2" (31.75cm) tall x 8-1/4" (20.95cm) wide x 6-1/4" (15.88cm) deep.
It is very old but I am not sure how old?  The base shows age as it appears it was attached to
a base or alter at an earlier time.   It also has damage on its left side where the base was broken.
See the last 3 photos including one of the attendants whose fingers are missing off one hand.  Again
the age is apparent when looking closely at the details...  The piece weighs just under 8 pounds..
