    Description

    Featuring a antique Japanese wood carving of an old wise man. With intricate detail in a seated position with a straw hat on his back wearing robe attire with a winking expression on his face. The piece has a beautiful wood grain and the intricacies of the piece make it particularly beautiful. Masterfully handmade and carved with a smooth finish.
    In good pre owned condition; NOTE: there is a repaired crack that runs through the hat on the rear with a minor chip at the hat top; not noticeable when displayed and in my opinion only adds to the antique look of the piece. Good showing condition considering the age; please see photos.
