    Description

Antique Hand Made Beaded Swans Pin Cushion / Disc
    English * Circa 1890
This gorgeous pinkeep is beaded on one side with two swans on the water with a backdrop of cattails. It is completely hand stitched with tiny glass beads onto an evenweave ground, 24 beads to the inch. The beads are completely intact. I thought at first some were missing in the water and the swans but then with a magnifier I saw that those spaces had silk stitches that were put in to give depth to the design.
The back is dk blue velvet and the edges are stuck with black glass headed pins.
The condition is excellent with no damage at all and i
    t measures 3 1/4" in diameter.
It was wrapped in tissue paper when I got it and I don't think it's seen the sun or any use.
I stand behind everything that I offer and
    guarantee
that it is exactly as presented.
