Description

Accordion Automated for Orchestrion, nickelodeon, coin piano.
This is a 25 note accordion with all 25 keys automated from G to G. It can be used with several roll formats. It came out of a 1980's vintage build-up orchestrion using a new Aeolian piano as a base and playing O-rolls.
There are no valves with this unit. It is intended to be tubed to the output of the piano valves. Of course you could build a set of valves (or use some of the Doyle Lane valves I just listed) to operate the pneumatics if it's not possible to tap into the piano valves.
The accordion appears to be in good condition with minor imperfections consistent with its age. The keyboard is in good condition with no apparent physical damage. Minor discoloration should come out with cleaning/buffing. One of the 25 pneumatics has come unglued - it was glued with hide glue. The cloth on the pneumatics is beginning to stiffen consistent with cloth over 40 years old so I'd recommend recovering the pneumatics.
The accordion plays on about 3" wind - either pressure or suction. You'll need a regulator (not included) if you intend to use the same suction source as the piano.
Looks like a very well-made unit with adjustable linkages to the keyboard.
