Description
A good example of a large compound microscope signed on the main tube “Seibert in Wetzlar”.This microscope is the stativ 2, large microscopr, and its is datable from the late 1880s’.
It is preserved in its original wooden traveling box.
It preserves 4 original Seibert objectives numbered 1, 3, 5 and homgenous immersion and three eyepieces numbered I, II and III.
Its mirror is well preserved and its large substage condenser too.
There is no other accessory and the box misses its drawer.
The microscope is in good working condition. The original lacker is preserved but it is uniformely spoted (see the two last pictures).
