2001 Visconti Firenze Pericle - Green Acrylic, Chrome Trim, Steel Nib (Fine)
This is a Visconti Firenze Pericle fountain pen in green acrylic with chrome trim.
The pen is the 2001 model, sometimes called the "Pericle 2001."
The clip has a distinctive crest, meant to echo the helmet of the Athenian general for which the pen is named. The pen comes in its original clamshell presentation box, which itself comes in the original paper box. The pen has distinct scratches on the chrome accents, especially on the back end of the pen (the eighth photo shows a closeup of the damage). Besides those, the pen is in excellent condition. It had previously been inked black, but has been flushed and cleaned and should take another color with no trouble. The clamshell box is in good condition and the paper box is acceptable, though it is notable for the barcode sticker identifying it as belonging to a 2001 Visconti Pericle.
