    Description

    "SNOOPY IN THE MUSIC BOX" TOY
    - (c) 1966 Mattel, Inc. / United Feature Syn., Inc.
    5" x 5.5" x 5" tin box features 4 diff. color litho images of
    Charles Schulz's Peanuts
    characters.
    Inside box is a 6" plastic & cloth Snoopy puppet with original felt ears still intact. Crank plays "Oh Where, Oh Where Has My Little Dog Gone?".
    This is a working example.
    Lid latch opens top door as intended, & Snoopy puppet still springs and stands well for display.
    All in all, we feel this is a highly visual Peanuts toy with excellent eye appeal.
    Condition is considered GOOD to FAIR
    with moderate surface/stain/edge wear. Moderate surface scuffs & dents with minimal spot oxidation on tin box graphics. Moderate paint scuffing on Snoopy's nose with no plastic cracks or fabric tears. Litho colors are still bold, bright and very appealing.
    Overall, this uncommon toy would serve as a better-than-average representational example by most standards (see photos).
