    Description

Another horn I'm going to regret selling. A rare 1961 Conn Elkhart 10H Trombone, which is the same specifications as the famous Conn 6H. They were made from 1955 to 1963. The difference being the 10H has a sold copper bell. The specs are .500" bore and a 8" bell diameter bell.  The slide and bell are both stamped 10H. These 10Hs are very  rare and have a SOUND to them like no other! It has a dark, warm sound at soft to medium volume compared to the 6H. Then at high volumes it really cuts.  This bell with a 48H lightweight slide (if you have one) is a great setup. This one plays extremely well. There is no evidence of bell repair or creases. The inner slide tubes have some chrome wear on them  but suprisingly the slide action is a B+. I lightly hand polished the exterior of the horn after the lacquer was removed. Please look at the detailed pictures for condition and also look at my other listings. It will be packed carefully with insurance. Comes with the original protective case that shows its age but all the latches work and it doesn't smell.
