    Description

    Straight from our brass
    (and silver) instrument
repair shop, our USED horns are brought back to life...All major dents are removed, joints re-soldered (if needed), patches repaired (if necessary) and the slides reworked.  Our horns may be buffed, but all are hand polished to a good shine and are in
    good playable
condition.  For the collector who is looking for an instrument; we try to keep the original parts whenever possible; if the playability is good, we feel it should be left to the buyer's discretion to replace parts as desired.  We are proud to offer this refurbished instrument for sale.
We have tried to describe it as it is, and have shown what we can in the pictures allowed. We are happy to answer any questions
    asked.  #52/2016
Up for sale is a 1952 King 2-B Liberty Professional Tenor Trombone made by HN White, Cleveland Ohio.  The serial number is 329xxx and has matching serial numbers on the slide.  The horn is made of yellow brass and solid nickel.  There are various dings and mild scratching throughout the bell section.  There is minor pitting and wear at the grips.  The slide crook has a couple of small dings.  The tune crook, neck brace and upper outer slides are perfect.  The slide action is "new" and needs breaking in; both inner tubes are new and the upper outer tube is new.  The outer slides have been "honed" and has like new compression, so the slide is excellent.
This instrument is not lacquered; therefore, this instrument may have to be polished periodically (we recommend using Weiman METAL Polish)
    .
The horn plays bright, full, and powerful with good tone and fast response. It comes with a used mouthpiece (may not be the one pictured) and a used Bach case.  The handle was missing at some point on the case and someone has customized a wire/leather handle.  The 2-B is one of the best jazz leads ever made.  The slide bore is .480/.480, with 7 3/8" bell.  Thanks for looking and check out our other items!
